Sweet Pepper Soup

Ontario greenhouse peppers are the star of this tasty soup..
    
1         Ontario greenhouse orange pepper, diced
1         Ontario greenhouse red pepper, diced
1         Ontario greenhouse yellow pepper, diced
4         Potatoes, diced
2         Carrots, diced
2         Stalks celery, diced
1         Onion, diced
5         Cups chicken broth
¼        Cup flour
1         Tsp EACH salt and Italian seasoning
1         Cup water
4         Cups milk
Pinch    Black pepper
    
In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, potatoes, carrots, onion and celery. Bring to a boil, reduce heat , cover and simmer for 15 minutes.

Add the peppers, cover and simmer for 20 minutes

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper and water. Turn the heat up under the soup. Stir the flour mixture into the bubbling soup and continue stirring until thickened.

Remove from heat, stir in milk and mix until milk has been heated.
